- 1Stem the cherries and remove the pits. See above for the cherry pitter I recommend.
- 2In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the cherries with the water, sugar, and lime juice, and cook until the cherries are very soft and cooked through, about 10-15 minutes.
- 3Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
- 4Puree the cherries and their liquid and put the mixture through a fine sieve.
- 5Pour into ice pop molds and freeze at least 2 hours.
